Flyypod® products are packaged in specially designed Tyvek® pouches created to perform multiple functions. The fabric was chosen for its unique qualities and sustainable production. Its unique construction makes Tyvek® the number one choice across the globe for PPE due to its resistance to microscopic particles. Being waterproof it is also the ideal companion for life on the road.

  • Tyvek® products extend our commitment to sustainability through their unique properties and performance characteristics
  • Tyvek® is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is recyclable
  • Low material weights, high durability and stable functional performance, result in less energy and resource consumption, as well as a reduction in material waste at the end of its life
  • DuPont™ Tyvek® is made without plasticisers or restricted chemicals listed in European Directives, such as RoHS (Directive 2015/863/EU) or REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

The Flyypod® FLP_001 Sleep Pod packaging is not only a storage pouch. By placing soft clothing inside, it doubles as a pillow and transforms into a lumbar support or foot rest cushion.

Both the FLP_003 Sleep Mask and FLP_004 Face Mask pouches are designed to serve as protective storage bags when not being used to secure the masks.

Compostable packaging is far kinder to the environment than plastic. When correctly disposed of, it breaks down quickly and safely due to being formed of plant-based and recycled materials. Our mailers are made entirely from biodegradable and compostable elements: corn starch, PLA (synthesised from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate). PLA (Polylactide) is a bio-based, biodegradable material made from renewable plant material (starches such as corn husks, rice straw and wheat straw).

The combination of materials represent a 60% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional plastics. They’re non-toxic and contain no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA). Certified AS 5810-2010 for home composting, they will completely degrade under compost conditions due to microorganisms in the natural world.

For the most sustainable outcome, once finished with a compostable mailer simply place it with food scraps and garden waste. In a compost environment, it will break down within months* in a non-toxic process.
